SWISSNEUROREHAB is an interdisciplinary project to develop an innovative model for neurological rehabilitation.
Funding of CHF 11.2 million over the next five years, including CHF 5.9 million from Innosuisse, has just been secured.

The aim? To offer personalized care to patients with the after-effects of strokes, head injuries and paraplegia.

In January we completed the clinical training at AORN San Giuseppe Moscati, Solofra, Italy. We thank the Director Giovanni Panariello and his team for the warm welcome and the positive experience.

The Lambda robot provides great help with the recovery of patients and, according to them, has already been working "like a tractor" 😀 We are delighted with this success and we look forward to new collaborations !

A look back at 3 days in the United Arab Emirates. Our co-founder Aurélien Fauquex was able to visit our partner hospitals on site, provide clinical training and present a workshop on robotics in rehabilitation at a conference. Thanks to our distributor Modern Pharmaceutical LLC for organising this tour between Dubaï, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi to accelerate our sales in this market at the cutting edge of innovation.

It was an honor for us to introduce our “Lambda” in l'Hôpital Raymond-Poincaré Greater Paris University Hospitals - AP-HP in France. We had inspiring therapy sessions with patients recovering from various brain and spinal-cord injuries. Double-task and cognitive exercises have been done as well. Thanks to the whole team!

We are very excited about this new pilot test which lasted 2 months at the Freiburg hospital. In addition with other functionalities, the testing of our new double-tasks functionnalities was helpfull with interesting feedback from the therapists.

Thank you to patients and therapists for their commitment and motivation. We look forward to the next collaborations.

Over a drink, we took the time to celebrate recent achievements and magical moments of the past year, including sales, fundraising and CE approval. It was also an opportunity for us to honor our customers and partners. Thank you all for your presence, your support and your trust!

This year marked the end of the 3 year GENILEM coaching program. We would like to thank GENILEM for their valuable support which helped us bring Lambda Health Systems to where it stands today and we wish all the best to this year's startups!

Yesterday and today the SwissNeuroRehab Neurotechnology & DTx Workshops take place at the Valens Rehab Center. On these two days we will discuss in workshops with clinicians, scientists and technology developers from all over Switzerland current clinical practices and innovative scientific concepts, address organizational challenges in practice and most importantly test new devices and prototypes.

Together we want to bring about a paradigm shift in neurorehabilitation, combining high quality clinical expertise, the best scientific knowledge and the most advanced technological solutions.

We wish all participants an exciting and productive second day and sincerely thank the organizing team for the preparation and execution of this valuable event!

After 2 online editions of the DGNR, it was a great pleasure to be back on site with an very interesting edition in Dresden.

First in-person event since the covid pandemic. We were really happy to see our potential users in this set-up and to achieve great demonstrations with the device on test for the entire day. Hopefully a first device soon in Germany.

We are glad to announce the delivery and installation of three Lambda robots at the Institution of Lavigny. We wish them every success with their new aids to support their patients' therapies.

Aurélien Fauquex, CEO of LHS and winner of the HEIG-VD Startup Grant 2013, speaks to motivated future entrepreneurs on how to turn an idea into a business.

Aurélien Fauquex, future CEO of LHS, was granted work as a research collaborator in the Neuropsychology and Neurorehabilitation department of CHUV in the presence of therapists and doctors for a period of 6 months. This clinical experience has led to the submission of the investigation protocol to the Ethics Committee of the Canton of Vaud for a pilot study of the Lambda robot.

Lambda was pleased to take part in the Sornest congress during the
51st Journées d'Étude de la Société de Réadaptation du Nord-Est, held in Switzerland. Robotics and innovation in healthcare were at the heart of the discussions.

Greetings from the DGNR congress in Augsburg (DE). Every year, this neurorehabilitation congress is an excellent opportunity to present the Lambda robot. Take advantage of this last day to test the Lambda and discover our latest innovative developments. As you can see, we don't hesitate to get down on one knee for you 😉

RHNe at its site in Le Locle is leading the way in future rehabilitation, with two Lambdas machines installed and managed by a single therapist. This project meets the growing need for rehabilitation in the region, despite the widespread shortage of qualified personnel in Switzerland and even Europe.

We were able to convince the Sharjah Social Service Department of the advantages of our versatile end-effector solution thanks to our exclusive partner MPC Healthcare and the fantastic team of Thiru kumaran. We are glad that the first patients in the Middle East will soon be able to benefit from the versatile training options and exercises to get the best possible outcome on their long road to recovery. Hopefully, many more patients will soon follow in other rehabilitation centers in UAE. Our special thanks go to Dr.Hosny Mohamed Abdelmoneim Mohamoud and Sharifa Abdalla Ahmed Abdalla Al-Ali from SSSD and Sandhya Sethuraman from Burjeel Medical City.

We had an enriching time at Arab Health Exhibition 2022 in #Dubai, the largest and most important #Healthcare event of the Arab Region. For us it was the perfect opportunity to have plenty of promising talks to rehabilitation distributors from all around the world and also market companions. More good news coming soon, we are already looking forward to the next rehabilitation fairs with physical presence in 2022 and of course also the next edition of Arab Health in 2023!

Congratulation to the mechanical team who managed to continue production during the COVID-19 crisis. Thanks also to our subcontractors for maintaining good delivery times.

A few delays were of course unavoidable, especially for asian out-of-the-shelve parts from Asia.

Lambda Health System was present at the World Confederation For Physical Therapy Congress that took place in Geneva Palexpo. We successfully demonstarted the Lambda robot and captured the interest of a large number of participants. We would like to thank the organizers for this unique opportunity to show our robot and interact with potential clients.

After obtaining successful results during the test lab for electrical and software safety and usability, the team is now ready for the final audit in order to obtain the CE mark.

Lambda Health System SA was granted a seed loan of CHF 100'000 from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT). This interest-free loan is provided to young companies in the French-speaking part of Switzerland in order to help them in the phase of prototyping and commercial development.

Yannick Charrotton and Aurélien Fauquex, co-founders of LHS, participated in the "Business Creation" CTI Entrepreneurship Training program at EPFL Innovation Park. A very interesting course with remarkable speakers and a lot of great advices for starting our business.

The first Lambda device has been installed in Germany at the Klinik Bavaria - Bad Kissingen. We're delighted to be able to work with the clinic's teams, who are already using the device very intensively. It also shows that the Lambda can fit in with the reimbursement system and way of working in this country.

Very friendly and interesting visit of a delegation from the United Emirates to our reference centers in Institution de Lavigny and Ospedale Generale di Zona Valduce and our facilities, the Sharjah Social Service Department and Burjeel Medical City were represented. It is our great pleasure to partner with Ospedale Generale di Zona Valduce Villa Beretta, one of the best neurorehabilitation centers in Italy! We are happy to announce that the Lambda concept passed the CE certification on the 15th of January 2019! We would like to thank all the people who participated in the project and made it successful. The certification allows production and distribution of the robot as a medical device within the European Union.

The Lambda robot passed all the highly demanding tests required by the various applicable standards for an electromechanical medical device. This includes EMC testing simulating storm and other external perturbations, electrical safety for the users and software safety according to a specific standard. The engineers of the test lab pushed the device really hard and tested it in all possible ways. It was recognised as compliant by multiple international standards required for the CE mark, such as IEC62304, IEC60601-1, etc.

LHS presents the new special training mode combining an environment of virtual reality for limbs movement with haptic feedback in perfect symbiosis.

Lambda Health System presents its innovative robotic structure at Palexpo Geneva in June 2016. The CEO and CTO also presented the project in 3 different pitch sessions during the event generating interesting discussions and contacts.
